About Me

My name is Angela Traver. I have been married for 28 years to an above average man, have a 15 year-old daughter who is WAY smarter than we are and three wonderful dogs. I have done a combo of public relations, marketing and graphic design for more than 20 years, but I've always been a writer in my head. I'm a hopeless daydreamer. Thinking back, what if I would have just put a few of my daydreams on paper? Who knows where I would be now! Alas, I have traveled extensively and educated countless folks on hooch--not a bad gig. I have also managed an arts center, worked in tourism and am currently running my own boutique PR agency (www.speakeasycommunications.net).  What I have realized is there are a few core things that bring me joy and I want to talk about them. So here goes nothing! 

So, alcohol is my jam, but there are a few other things that bring me great joy and those are the things you will find here (along with booze news, well not really news, but some boozy business). Here are a few topics that you can expect me to go on and on about in no particular order:

1. Travel--both for work and pleasure

2. Family (Keep an eye out for a good Aunt Patti story. Those are gems.)

3. Knitting (She's not good, but nevertheless she knitted!)

4. Cooking (We are foodies--especially my daughter.)

5. Living blue in a red state

6. The long parade of crazy people who have given me at least one good story that I will never forget.
